Designed by the Open Source Competency Centre under MAMPU, this
application makes it possible for stakeholders to track the status of
decisions and action items.
MyMeeting brings a fresh change
to the way meetings are conducted in the public sector by streamlining
project monitoring and made the tracking and monitoring of meetings as
easy as clicking a mouse.
The online meeting management and
monitoring application designed by the Open Source Competency Centre
under MAMPU made it possible for meeting stakeholders to closely track
the status of meeting decisions and action items.
MyMeeting
facilitates ongoing and consistent collaboration between members,
streamlines secretariat tasks, eliminates communication delays and
improves transparency.
MyMeeting exemplifies open source software
capabilities to enable a more integrated and improved Public Sector.
It fulfils unique and stringent requirements for meeting
secretariats to comply with Government Meeting Management Guidelines No.
2 Year 1991 and there are no similar products available.

The breakthrough
application received overwhelming support and acceptance from users when
it was launched by the Chief Secretary to the Government during
MyGOSSCON 2007.
And through subsequent requests and constructive
feedback from the public sector, MyMeeting has evolved to newer
versions.
Enhancements resulted in a more flexible and robust OSS
product for use in all Government agencies, as well as in the private
sector.
MyMeeting is used by more than 40 government agencies,
including MAMPU, Public Service Depart-ment, Election Commission, Health
Ministry, Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry, Education
Ministry, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Using MyMeeting’s award-winning features, meeting management becomes
a breeze, resulting in more effective decision-making and timely
implementation of projects nationwide.
This will bring about
improved public service delivery, enhanced performance of private sector
and overall progress of the country.
